Information and Communications Technology (ICT)

Aim: Pupils to be proficient in using ICT for active and self-directed learning in a responsible, respectful and reflective way for the present and future world

We have a pervasive ICT environment to engage pupils to learn and to help them acquire appropriate skills and technologies for the present and future world. There is seamless integration of ICT into daily lessons to enhance pupils’ learning.

Beginning from Semester 2, P1 pupils participate in 1 hour of ICT lesson per week. Our ICT lessons will harness the functional affordances of a wide range of different ICT tools such as word processors, spreadsheets, social networking sites, collaborative writing tools, and multimedia presentation and publishing tools to engage pupils in their learning while offering them opportunities to practise ICT skills.
