Parents of Gabriel Maximus Koh
Dear Mrs Wee,
We would like to compliment Waterway Primary School on giving our child (Gabriel Maximus Koh) a holistic education and caring teacher (Mrs Diana Yap) from his Primary 1E class.
Being a new school without track records, we took a chance to enroll him purely based on the Vice Principal and your credentials. After 11 months of journey, we felt that the right decision has been made to put him in Waterway Primary School. The frequent communication that Mrs Yap has with parents shows her tireless effort in caring for the well being of her students.
During the first few days of school, parents were not allowed into the premises. We were anxious how Gabriel was adapting to the new environment. Mrs Yap took photos of him eating during recess and sent it to us(Whatsapp). We were astonished that Mrs Yap took such effort to do it. Subsequently, when there were events in school, including Zoo trip, she would send us photos.
Mrs Yap would also constantly communicate to us the homework, assessment dates, spelling, etc. Friends were surprised as Teachers in some other school do not give their personal contact numbers to parents.
During the PSLE marking days, we were surprised that Gabriel woke up early each morning to complete the AsknLearn assignment. He also asked when he can go to school? We ask him why? He said that he loved the school very much. This can only be the case because he has very caring and motivating Teachers ( including Mrs Lee, Ms Grace Seah and Ms Li).
A Big Thank You to Mrs Yap for the great partnership and staff of Waterway Primary School.
