Coding & Robotics
Interest CCA Coding & Robotics members working on their Lego EV3s.
To increase our students' exposure to coding and to further develop their computational thinking acquired during P1 and P2 PAL Robotics, the Code for Fun Programme (implemented jointly by IMDA and Waterway Primary) is planned into our Modular CCA.
Students who show potential in coding and robotics skills are selected to participate in the Coding and Robotics Interest CCA. These students will be stretched further to develop coding and computational thinking at an advanced level.
Both the MCCA and Interest CCA would include academic learning of related concepts using visual-based programming language, such as Scratch, and combining it with robotic kits, such as Lego WeDo, Lego EV3, MoWay, and microcontrollers such as the Micro:bits to create a coding experience for our students.
